What Is a Good Nerve Supplement? Seven Label Checks
A good nerve supplement shows every ingredient with its milligrams, names allergens, gives clear directions and makes no promise to treat a disease. Nervecept passes the first three: 8 lines, 699 mg per capsule, shellfish named, one capsule a day. It fails on proof, because no trial tests it.

What is a good nerve supplement label?
A good label tells you exactly what is in the bottle and does not promise a cure.
The Supplement Facts panel is set by federal rules, and it should list each ingredient with an amount per serving (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts). A "blend" with one total hides the split.
| Check | Nervecept |
|---|---|
| Each line has milligrams | Yes, all 8 lines |
| Allergen named | Yes, shellfish (crayfish) |
| Clear directions | Yes, one capsule a day |
| Disclaimer present | Yes, FDA statement |
| Studied amounts reached | No, 67 mg vs up to 1,000 mg frankincense |
| Third-party test mark | None printed |
| Product trial | None found |
How do you read the Supplement Facts panel?
Read it from the top: serving size, then each line, then the other ingredients.
Tap the numbered spots to see how the Nervecept panel breaks down. One capsule is one serving, and 30 servings fill the bottle.
Tap a number to read that part of the label.
- Serving
Serving size 1 capsule; 30 servings per container.
- Glucosamine sulfate
500 mg: 71.5% of the 699 mg listed. Usually made from shellfish shells.
- Indian frankincense
67 mg of Boswellia serrata (herb): 9.6%.
- Chondroitin and turmeric
50 mg each (7.2% each). Turmeric is the root of Curcuma longa.
- Four 8 mg lines
Quercetin (Sophora japonica bud), methionine, MSM and bromelain (Ananas comosus stem): 1.1% each.
- Daily Value
The ** note: Daily Value is not established for any of the lines.
Add up the lines yourself. Here 500 mg of 699 mg is 71.5 percent glucosamine. More in the Supplement Facts guide.
Which claims should make you cautious?
Be cautious of any claim to fix nerve damage.
Supplement labels cannot make those claims (NCCIH, Using Supplements Wisely). The FTC also expects health ads to be backed by solid evidence (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance). A "clinically proven" line needs a study you can name.
Also watch for fake or paid reviews. The FTC bars them (FTC, Fake Reviews Final Rule (Aug 2024)). Nervecept has no verified reviews on this site yet. See our legitimacy review.

FAQ01
Nervecept questions people ask
How can I tell if a supplement is high quality?
Look for a full panel with milligrams, a named maker or distributor, and an independent mark such as USP, which tests finished products (USP, Verification Program). Nervecept names its distributor but prints no third-party mark. Lot and CoA numbers on this site are seller references, not lab proof.
Does a GMP badge mean a supplement works?
No. Supplement makers must follow good manufacturing practice rules by law (21 CFR Part 111 (eCFR)). A badge describes how a product is made, not whether it helps. It says nothing about nerves or about the amounts being right.
Is a bigger milligram number always better?
No. Large numbers can come from one cheap filler line. In Nervecept, 500 of 699 mg is glucosamine. Compare amounts with studied doses instead, and remember that studied doses are not advice to take more.
What should I ask my pharmacist about a nerve supplement?
Ask whether any ingredient affects your prescriptions. Warfarin is the main flag for glucosamine, chondroitin, turmeric and quercetin. Also mention diabetes, shellfish allergy and any surgery coming up, as NCCIH advises telling providers about every supplement.
